You all loved my last post Three things you can skip at your wedding so i’m back with one more!!

Here are Three MORE things you can skip at your wedding!

1. FAVORS! A lot of couples think they need to have favors, and i’m here to tell you that you don’t need them! no one is going to remember, or care if they dont have favors. i’ll be honest with you- favors get left after weddings so often! it’s always so sad packing up all the extra personalized items my couple spent so much time on. if you do favors, something edible is always a favorite. but honestly, have a Photo Booth, late night food, or transportation for your guests instead.

2. Saving the top tier of your wedding cake! I think this is one of the oddest traditions honestly.. I don’t know where it got started, but I think it’s something that needs to be stopped. instead go back to that same bakery on your one year anniversary and have a fresh, delicious cake to celebrate. Bonus- your supporting that bakery again which I always encourage!

3. Speeches– okay okay hear me out! just consider doing them at your Rehearsal dinner instead!! it’s more meaningful to have them done with just your closest family and friends. Speeches are beautiful and meaningful- just know you dont have to have them part of your wedding reception. at the very least, limit them to 2-3 people and ask them to keep them around 3 minutes each
