When it comes to your wedding budget, you want to go into it with a good idea of how much you’re going to spend, and you definitely don’t want to have any surprise fees in the home stretch! Here are three things couples dont think about when planning their overall budget:
Feeding your vendors- your vendors need to be included in your final guest count to your caterer/venue! Yes, your vendors should be eating the same meal as your guests, and should ideally be in the same room as you, and your guests. Most vendors have it included in their contract, but even without it being included in contracts, you need to feed your vendors! Your photographer, videographer, planner, DJ/MC will be with you for most of the day, and definitely deserve to sit down for a few minutes, and eat.
Tips- if you plan on tipping your vendors, have a spot in your budget for that. If you’re tipping everyone, that could be hundreds of dollars you didn’t originally budget for.
Dress alterations- your wedding dress is most likely going to need altered weather you buy brand new, or off the rack, which costs on average $300-$500. When deciding on your dress budget, include alterations in that price!
